Coming Up Roses
With so many Estée Lauder products to choose from, it’s
hard to play favorites. But that won’t stop us from trying.
Here’s what we’re loving this month.
Rose de Grasse
Womankind’s obsession with the rose dates back centuries, and spares very few of us. Estée was certainly not immune to the undeniable power of the enchanting flower’s intoxicating aroma and formulated a number of her best-selling perfumes with its precious essence. The predisposition apparently runs in the family: for the first offering from her brand new Premier Collection of fine, rare, and artisanal fragrances, Aerin Lauder has put the spotlight on not one, but three prized rose blooms. Boasting a blend of delicate Rosa Centifolia, the renowned hundred-petaled flower that is harvested in the South of France every May; rich Rose Otto Bulgarian; and the softness of Turkish Rose Absolute spiked with hints of amber seed, violet woods, and musk, Aerin’s Rose de Grasse Parfum essentially bottles the effect of your favorite fresh-cut arrangement. That it makes a serious case for flacons over flowers goes without saying.
